// THE INFORMATION

It’s been about three years since my most recent personal site closed on account that my friend Micki ran out of money and all of our sites had to close that were under her account. My very first domain was concealed-attraction.net which was also my very first taste of a perminant home for a website. Since then, I’ve been wanting to open another small personal site, but I’ve never had the time until late October 2007, where I decided to open one, naming it Unexamined Life and hosted by myself on the Elvish Enterprises, Inc. site. I purchased the domain, unexamined-life.net from Netrillium on December 31, 2007. Late 2008, I couldn’t login to my old Netrillium account, so I decided to create a new domain. I purchased beautifullie.net on November 16, 2008 and began constructing the site while I still had unexamined-life.net online.

// THE NAME

A Beautiful Lie was the fourth single and title track off the 2005 album A Beautiful Lie by band 30 Seconds to Mars. Jared Leto describes a beautiful lie as “a choice, a perspective, of being in a relationship and continuing on with something even though in your heart it’s not where you want to be.” I absolutely love the song and the message in the song as well. Personally, in my life, I live with a beautiful lie, if not more than one. To view the song lyrics, click here.
