Let the Music Play!

Well, July is finally here! I’ve seen two concerts since my summer began April 28th and I’m going to five more this summer… or I should say this month! I saw 30 Seconds to Mars for the second time back in May and I got to see the Backstreet Boys for the first time ever last month. Hover over the pictures below from both concerts.

As for this month, I get to see Kings of Leon on my birthday next week; then Lady Gaga, Boys Like Girls and two Allstar Weekend concerts at the end of the month.

As for this past Saturday, I got to see the current love of my life at Drums Along the Rockies in Denver. He’s the head drum major for The Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps (yes, I know his name, but since this is public, I’d much rather not say his name). I first saw him when BK was practicing out at County High School last month, and yes, first glance at him was when he had his shirt off. I died. And he’s Canadian which makes him that much hotter. I wouldn’t exactly say that he’s Justin Timberlake hot, but he’s definitely close. I was too much of a wuss after the show out at the buses to talk to him since he walked past me like 7 times.

Here’s my philosophy: if you just fall in love from afar, you won’t get your heart broken, you’ll obsess over the person for a few weeks, then you’re over them.

So, I’ll definitely be in love with him until after World Finals are over next month, then I’ll completely forget about him. It’s really not hard at all since I’ve done it so many times.

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a fun and safe night last night! For it being my first New Years’ Eve being 21, I didn’t go out and party with friends. I actually went to dinner with my mom, aunt and cousins while we were in Denver. My aunt wanted to stop by the Liquor Barn in Englewood so we’d have some alcohol to drink, but we decided not to go, lol. Seriously, what kind of Greek/Italians are we if we didn’t drink any liquor last night? Especially wine with our dinner!

Funny story, actually.

OK, my aunt wanted to pay me somehow, so we went out to dinner last night. We were going to go to Olive Garden, but there was a very long wait, so we decided to go to a local Italian restaurant. This is where my 12-year-old cousin comes in. He’s 20lbs underweight for his age, very scrawny, but is a first-degree black belt in karate. Well, he decided he wanted an adult-sized plate of spaghetti with one meatball and one sausage (this was homemade spaghetti, sausage and meatballs, mind you! The spaghetti was thick and heavy and the sausage and meatball were pretty big). He ate the sausage and the meatball and already felt full. My aunt dared him if he ate half the plate, she’d give him a dollar. About 10 minutes later, since he still hadn’t eaten much, she dared him if he ate the whole plate, she’d give him five dollars. Chris was determined to eat it all to get that five dollars. We told him he really didn’t have to and that it was a joke, but he didn’t care, he wanted that five dollars. Crazy enough, he ate the whole plate.

We ran to the new Target Megastore and the first thing Chris did when he got out of the car was walk right up to the closest trash can and threw up a little. About ten minutes later, he ran to the bathroom twice. Poor kid was sick for the rest of the night as well as today. He woke up at midnight last night to try to find something to settle his stomach, but I couldn’t find any Peptobismol and we didn’t get him any Sprite, so he just went back to bed with his stomach feeling as crummy as ever.

We were making fun of him this morning asking if he had nightmares of being eaten by spaghetti.

Merry Christmas!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas!

I must say, this Christmas isn’t the best; I’m just lucky we had presents, really. My family has been going through a lot this year and we haven’t had the best luck either, especially my brother, so I’m surprised at the number of presents we received. They weren’t very extravagant gifts either, mostly of just practical things we need (especially my brother, he’s moving to Florida on Tuesday) and movies and games. I’m not complaining at all, I just wish we could’ve given each other more than we did.

Christmas isn’t a huge family thing this year either. Last year, since it was my father’s last Christmas, we spent the holiday with the whole family. Instead of being cramped in my grandmother’s house with 30 family members and the best Mexican food in the world, we decided to just stay home, just my mom, brother and me eating a small Greek dinner instead. It’s a nice change of pace, actually.

Enough of that, let me get to the reason why I decided to post today. I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I want to open another fansite. The problem is that I’m not giving each of my current sites equal attention and it hurts. I’ve had my graphic resource site on “revamp” status since last year, I’ve almost completely stopped updating my Jared Padalecki site and I’ve been trying to work on a new fansite for up-and-coming actor Cody Longo.

I need help in all fronts and just about all sites I run. I don’t want to let ANY of them go, which is the worst part! I want to open a Kevin Jonas fansite since it’s sad not to see a high quality Kevin fansite, but I already own and run a Jonas Brothers fansite and I’m also invisibly helping a friend out with her Joe Jonas site, which is honestly the #1 Joe Jonas fansite on the web!

I’ve been trying to find help with my Jared Padalecki site, but no one has stepped up to the plate. I’ve got many Jonas fans and a lot of them are very site/news/photo inclined, but apparently none of them would want to help run an actual fansite, since Twitter’s such an easy source for everything.

I don’t know. I really don’t know.

Hello WordPress World!

So the server basically crapped out and my host had to move all of the sites to the back-up server, which gave me a reason to upgrade to WordPress, so… here it is! I’m still trying to figure out coding for themes, so I’ve just been using one of Mel F.’s themes as a template until I figure out how to code a theme on my own.

So. Winter Break. I’ve been on break for about two weeks already (WOW!) and I’ve been so lazy!
